Effective December 28, 2009, citizens of Australia, Canada and the U.S. will be required to pay a new tax upon entering Argentina. The amount of the entrance tax is similar to what Argentine citizens pay when requesting visas to these same countries.

Accepted forms of payment include Argentine pesos, U.S. dollars and traveler’s checks. Please note that the tax amount is subject to change.
