Grupo AeroMexico – Passenger Flexibility Policy
Due to the precautionary measure issued by the Mexican Ministry of Health, AeroMexico issues the following flexibility policy to assist our customers.
Policy Validity
April 24 to May 10, 2009 for Domestic Flights within Mexico
April 24 to May 15, 2009 for International Flights
Travel Period
April 24 to Dec 10, 2009
For passengers with original travel dates between May 11 and May 15, 2009, no change fees will apply (verify General Condition #2). For any changes made prior to May 10, 2009, original policy will apply.
General Conditions:
- During the Policy Validity period, a passenger’s itinerary can be modified for travel dates through December 10, 2009.
- Change fee will be waived ONLY for date/flight modifications that comply with the regulations of the fare purchased (i.e. routing, same origin/destination, seasonality, minimum and maximum stay, same class of service, etc.), otherwise the fare difference will be charged. Any penalty charge for changes will be waived.
- No refunds apply under the Refunds Contingency Procedure, which will be in effect until further notice. This is aside from the Flexibility Plan (AM personnel see DRS GG USI).
- Date changes to Gran Plan Packages will be allowed up to 24 hours prior to departure, at no charge, as long as the same pre-selected hotel accommodation and AeroMexico class of service is available. Any package’s fare difference will be at the passenger’s expense. Modifications must be done at least 24 hours prior to departure to avoid cancellation fees.
- Any modifications made during the Flexibility Policy period must be documented in the passenger record under OSI or REMARKS with the following information:

- This policy applies to all passengers traveling on AeroMexico flight series AM001-AM2999 and for tickets issued at any AeroMexico point of sale worldwide.
- AeroMexico will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred, such as hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals, phone calls, etc.
- Penalty will be waived if changes are made prior to departure (fare difference may apply). Changes can be made at any AeroMexico point of sale, or through the Travel Agency where ticket was purchased (only for U.S. Travel Agencies). In the case of a NO SHOW, any penalty and fare difference will apply.
